Sun-Lit Raceway Farms
Our premium Spirulina is cultivated in sun-exposed raceway ponds in Tamil Nadu with year-round tropical sunlight and mineral-rich bore-well water. Cultures begin in controlled photobioreactors, then transition to open raceway systems that harness natural solar energy. Advanced IoT monitoring networks log critical parameters every 15 minutes—sunlight intensity, pH, electrical conductivity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen—enabling real-time agronomic adjustments and optimal harvest prediction. Bore-well water is mineral-balanced through multi-stage filtration to ensure ideal ionic strength for phycocyanin and beta-carotene accumulation. This combination of renewable solar energy, precise water chemistry, and digital monitoring delivers biomass with consistently elevated protein content (≥60%) and phycocyanin levels (≥15%) batch after batch.
Harvested at Peak Density
Timing is critical in Spirulina cultivation. Our harvest teams monitor pond chemistry and light absorption curves continuously, waiting for the precise window when chlorophyll, phycocyanin, and total protein reach seasonal peak—typically early morning when photosynthetic activity has concentrated cellular content to maximum density. Skilled technicians skim the pond surface and process biomass through a purpose-designed three-stage filtration and gravity dewatering system that gently concentrates the crop while protecting delicate cell membranes. Our approach uses gravity and low-pressure membrane technology—never heat or centrifugation—to preserve vital antioxidant compounds, particularly heat-sensitive beta-carotene and phycocyanin pigments. The result is dewatered paste with protein content consistently above 60% and crude phycocyanin exceeding 15%, all captured before oxidation or nutrient degradation. This careful handling from pond to processing floor distinguishes our premium-grade Spirulina from commodity alternatives.
Closed-Loop Processing
Culture Propagation
Axenic seed cultures are expanded in sterile tanks to guarantee strain purity.
Dewatering
Vacuum pumps and belt filters remove water while protecting delicate cell membranes.
Spray Drying
Low-temperature spray dryers (<60 °C) preserve phycocyanin and beta carotene.
Milling & Sieving
Air-classifier mills deliver custom mesh sizes for powders, tablets, or capsules.
Laboratory Validation
Every production batch undergoes a comprehensive 18-point analytical protocol before release. Our state-of-the-art QA laboratory, equipped with HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, and certified microbiological testing suites, tests for nutritional markers (protein, phycocyanin, beta-carotene, amino acid profiles), microbiological safety (Total Plate Count, Yeast & Mould, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus), heavy metals (Pb, Cd, As, Hg), pesticide residues, mycotoxins (Aflatoxins), and physical contaminants. All testing follows AOAC, USP, and ISO 17025 validated protocols, ensuring analytical data is audit-ready for global regulatory submissions. Detailed Certificates of Analysis accompany every shipment, providing complete traceability and supporting compliance documentation worldwide.
Nitrogen Flushed Packaging
Spirulina's vibrant green pigments and delicate phycocyanin content demand rigorous packaging protection. Every batch is sealed in multi-layer aluminium foil bags that block 99.9% of light exposure—critical because phycocyanin begins to degrade within hours of light exposure, losing both its characteristic blue colour and antioxidant potency. Within each outer bag, the product is sealed in nitrogen-flushed, vacuum-sealed LDPE liners that remove oxygen and create an inert atmosphere. This prevents oxidation of the photosynthetic pigments and extends shelf life dramatically compared to standard packaging. Vacuum sealing also reduces product density, allowing more efficient packing for shipping. Our packaging is designed for sustainability: recyclable aluminium and LDPE materials, minimal plastic excess, and sizing optimized to reduce transportation carbon footprint. We offer multiple formats—from 5kg retail pouches to 25kg bulk drums—tailored to your supply chain requirements. All packaging materials are food-grade certified and compliant with EU and US food contact regulations. Custom artwork support means your private-label branding can be printed directly on our standard pouch sizes, enabling rapid time-to-market for your Spirulina products without custom packaging development delays.
