Sourced from the fertile banks of the Amaravathi
Our premium Moringa oleifera is cultivated in the nutrient-rich soils of Tamil Nadu, where ideal climatic conditions produce leaves with exceptional nutritional density. We partner with a network of 50+ certified organic farms, ensuring traceability from seed to finished product. These regions provide the perfect balance of warm temperatures, minimal rainfall, and alkaline soil pH that Moringa thrives in. Our farmers follow traditional cultivation methods combined with modern organic practices, creating a sustainable supply chain that supports rural communities while delivering pharmaceutical-grade quality.
Organic Farming Practices
Every Moringa tree in our supply chain is grown under strict organic certification standards. We work directly with farming cooperatives to ensure consistency, quality, and fair compensation.
- NPOP (India Organic) and USDA NOP certified cultivation
- Zero pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers
- Drip irrigation to minimize water consumption
- Intercropping with nitrogen-fixing legumes for soil health
- Annual soil testing for heavy metals and contaminants
- Fair trade practices with guaranteed minimum prices for farmers
Precision Harvesting at Peak Nutrition
Timing is critical. Our Moringa leaves are hand-picked in early morning hours when nutritional content is at peak levels. Only young, tender leaves from the top 30cm of branches are selected—these contain the highest concentration of vitamins, minerals, and bioactive compounds. Harvesting is done every 45 days during the growing season, allowing trees to regenerate without stress and ensuring consistent quality year-round. Within 2 hours of harvest, leaves are transported in ventilated containers to our processing facility to prevent oxidation and nutrient degradation, maintaining full potency through initial handling.
Our Quality Processing Chain
Triple Washing
Leaves undergo three-stage washing in purified water to remove field dust while preserving nutrients
Controlled Drying
Shade-dried at <50°C within 24 hours to retain heat-sensitive vitamins and chlorophyll
Air Classification
Milled to 80-mesh using air-classification to prevent heat buildup and oxidation
Quality Testing
Every batch tested for microbiological safety, heavy metals, and nutritional profile
Pharmaceutical-Grade Quality Assurance
Our in-house laboratory, equipped with HPLC, GC-MS, and ICP-MS instrumentation, conducts a rigorous 23-point quality check on every production batch before release. We test for nutritional markers (protein, vitamins A, C, E, minerals), microbiological safety (TPC, E. coli, Salmonella), heavy metals (Pb, Cd, As, Hg), pesticide residues, mycotoxins (Aflatoxins), and physical contaminants. Our facility holds GMP, ISO 22000:2018, and FSSAI certifications. All testing methods follow AOAC, USP, and ISO validated protocols, ensuring compliance with EU and US regulatory limits and audit readiness for global submissions.
Temperature-Controlled Storage & Nitrogen-Flushed Packaging
Moringa's vibrant green leaf powder contains a complex profile of chlorophyll, polyphenols, and bioactive compounds that are highly susceptible to oxidative degradation. Unlike dried leaf products that maintain color through desiccation, Moringa's nutrient-dense structure demands rigorous atmospheric control throughout storage and distribution. Every batch is sealed in multi-layer foil pouches with food-grade PE liners, filled with nitrogen gas to create an inert atmosphere that prevents oxidation and microbial proliferation. Our packaging specifications maintain <2% oxygen levels within the sealed environment—far below the critical 5% threshold where degradation accelerates. Temperature sensitivity is equally critical: storage between 15-25°C preserves polyphenol integrity and prevents enzymatic browning that customers associate with quality loss. For bulk ingredients destined for nutraceutical manufacturing, we supply Moringa in HDPE drums with desiccant canisters (silica gel with color-change indicators) to manage the hygroscopic nature of leaf powder. This dual-layer approach—atmospheric control in consumer packages and active desiccation in bulk formats—ensures that Moringa powder reaching your facility maintains full potency and fresh characteristics that define our sourcing promise.
