Cultivated Fruiting Bodies
Our Cordyceps programme focuses on cultivated fruiting bodies of Cordyceps militaris grown under controlled environmental conditions. Cultivation allows precise management of humidity, temperature, and substrate composition, producing fruiting bodies rich in polysaccharides and naturally occurring cordycepin. Unlike wild Cordyceps sinensis, which is scarce and environmentally sensitive, cultivated Cordyceps militaris offers a consistent and sustainable source of bioactive compounds suitable for modern nutraceutical applications.
Harvest & Drying
Cordyceps fruiting bodies are harvested once they reach full maturity and optimal pigment development. The mushrooms are then gently dried under controlled conditions to remove moisture while protecting heat-sensitive compounds such as cordycepin and adenosine. This careful dehydration process stabilizes the raw material and preserves the functional compounds that make Cordyceps popular in energy and endurance formulations.
Extraction Process
Milling
Dried Cordyceps fruiting bodies are milled into coarse powder to improve extraction efficiency.
Hot Water Extraction
Extended hot water extraction isolates polysaccharides and other water-soluble bioactive compounds.
Filtration & Concentration
The extract is clarified through multi-stage filtration and concentrated under controlled temperature.
Spray Drying

Every Cordyceps batch undergoes analytical testing prior to release. Our laboratory evaluates polysaccharide content, moisture, extract ratios, and other quality parameters to ensure specification compliance and product consistency. Safety screening includes microbiological testing (Total Plate Count, Yeast & Mould, E. coli, Salmonella) and heavy metals analysis (Pb, As, Cd, Hg).
